Marcia J. Clark, 79, of Lyndonville, NY, passed away at home on Monday, September 15, 2025, after a long struggle with cancer.

On August 31, 1946, she made national headlines, being born at Medina Hospital, after her twin sister, Mary, was born at home in the Town of Yates. She grew up in Lyndonville, graduating from Lyndonville High School in 1965. She then attended Wyoming Community College, where she received her Registered Nurse Degree. She was employed at Arnold Gregory Hospital until its closure, and then continued working as an ER and Operating Nurse at Medina Hospital, retiring in 2012. In her spare time, she enjoyed needlepoint, reading, crossword puzzles, watching game shows, and collecting anything with elephants and cats. She was also a Shea's season subscriber.

Marcia is survived by her sister, Joyce (Mark) Ackerman of Lockport, NY, nieces and nephews, whom she loved and supported in all their endeavors. Heather Rutherford, of Lyndonville, NY, Alan (Kim) Rutherford, of Hinesville, GA, Adrienne (Marty) Laufer of Lockport, NY, Krista Clark of Oakfield, NY, and a brother-in-law, Keith Rutherford, of Lyndonville, NY.

Marcia is predeceased by her parents, George and Emma (Goodwin) Clark, her twin sister, Mary, a brother, Rev. Richard Clark, and a sister, Coleen Rutherford.

Relatives and friends may call on Saturday, September 20, 2025, from 11 AM- 1 PM at the Lyndonville United Methodist Church, 102 N. Main St., Lyndonville, NY 14098, where a funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM. Burial will be in the West Ridgeway Cemetery.

Memorials may be made in Marcia's name to Hospice of Orleans, 14080 Route 31 West, Albion, NY 14411, or to Orleans Community Health, 200 Ohio St., Medina, NY 14103.
