Marcia Duffield Obituary
CARBONDALE - Marcia Lynn Duffield, age 71, passed away on January 10, 2026 at Integrity Healthcare of Marion.
Marcia was born on August 10, 1954 in Murphysboro, Illinois to Carl and Margaret (Brouillette) Wilton.
Marcia attended Murphysboro High School and upon graduation, attended Southern Illinois University- Carbondale where she received her Bachelor's in Education. Marcia went on to work as an educator for Adolescent Health. Outside of work, Marcia had a passion for animals. She loved spending time with all of her cats. Marcia also enjoyed tending to her flower garden in her free time.
Marcia is survived by her son, Nathan Duffield; sister, Carla Wilton; cousins Mark Eovaldi, Barbara Huppert and James Temple.
She was preceded in death by her parents and brother and sister-in-law, Jeff and Merrie Wilton.
Memorials may be made in Marcia's name to St. Francis Animal Shelter in Murphysboro.
