Marcia Joy Fredeen was born February 20, 1934 in Dassel, Minnesota and left this world on August 11, 2025 in Pinedale, Wyoming. She had been a longtime resident of Cheyenne.
Marcia held a deep love for her family. She was a beloved wife, mother, sister, sister-in-law and friend. Being a grandmother and great-grandmother brought incredible joy to her life and she delighted in hearing about their lives and spending time with them.
She is survived by her son, Dr. Thomas Fredeen (Lily) of Green Bay, WI, daughter, Nancy Lenhardt (Kevin) of Pinedale, WY and son, John Fredeen (JerriAnn) of Washoe Valley, NV. Marcia was blessed with many grandchildren, foster grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her memory will live on in the hearts of her family, her nieces, nephews and many wonderful friends.
Marcia was preceded in death by her husband, Roger, her parents, her brother, Dale and dear friend and companion, Richard “Dick” Pickett.
The family would like to thank Dr. Andras Eder and the staff at the Sublette Center in Pinedale for the love and care they gave our mother.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at 3 pm on September 6th at Schrader, Aragon and Jacoby Funeral Home, 2222 Russell Ave in Cheyenne, Wyoming.
