Marcia J. Leppo

Marcia J. (Senft) Leppo, age 68, of Spring Grove, went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Tuesday, August 2, 2022 with her loving husband by her side, after a courageous battle from pancreatic cancer; she also suffered for 40 years from rheumatoid arthritis.
Marcia was born on July 23, 1954 to the late James P. and Ethel (Crone) Senft. She graduated from Spring Grove High School Class of 1972. On October 5, 1974 she married her high school sweetheart, Brent S. Leppo, sharing 47 years of a wonderful marriage. Marcia was a faithful member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Stoverstown where she helped start the preschool program, was a member of the Evangelism Committee for many years and was attendance secretary for the church. She also loved quilting with the "Stitch and Gab" quilting group. Marcia recently attended Carpenter's Workshop Fellowship in Seven Valleys. She was also a member of the Spring Grove VFW Ladies Auxiliary and the Spring Grove Area Historical and Preservation Society. In her teenage years, Marcia twirled baton with The Suzi Q's, a dance and twirl baton team where they performed at the Steel Pier in Atlantic City.
Marcia loved being with family, especially shopping trips with her sisters and Sunday afternoons with her sisters and brother to "catch-up." She was passionate about all her family and enjoyed cooking special meals for her children and grandchildren. Like her mom, she baked the best pies and cakes to share on special family gatherings.
In addition to her loving husband Brent, Marcia is survived by her sons, Brent Leppo, II and wife Amanda, their son Landen, and Ned Leppo and wife Jennifer and their children Adelyn and Isaac. Seeing her grandchildren was the biggest joy of her life.
She also leaves to cherish her memory her siblings, Robert Senft and wife Delia, Linda Koons and husband Kenneth, Cynthia Druck, Pamela Meckley and husband Leonard, and Jane Thoman and husband Troy. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by an infant brother Wayne, and brother-in-law Edward Druck.
A Memorial Service in celebration of Marcia's life will be held on Tuesday, August 9, 2022 at 10:00AM at Carpenter's Workshop Fellowship, 57 Church St., Seven Valleys, PA 17360 with her pastor Rev. Kay Gingerich and Chaplain Rene Kinard officiating. Interment will be private. The family will receive relatives and friends on Monday, August 8, 2022 from 6:00PM – 8:00PM at Beck Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Inc., of Spring Grove, 175 N. Main St., Spring Grove, PA 17362.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Marcia's memory may be made to Carpenter's Workshop Fellowship, 57 Church Street, Seven Valleys, PA 17360.
