Marcia Kay Erickson Perry, 80, was born on March 8, 1945, to Cecil Woodrow Erickson and Mildred Thomas Erickson in Hinton Oklahoma and went to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, November 15, 2025, in Bossier City, Louisiana.
Marcia was a resident of Bossier City, Louisiana. She began her professional life after attending college, building a long and dedicated career as a business manager for a court reporting firm. She was known for her reliability, work ethic, and the steady grace she brought to every task.
Her faith was a guiding force throughout her life. As a longtime member of the Viking Drive Church of Christ, Marcia found joy and purpose in her church community.
She loved the simple pleasures, tending her garden, cooking meals for loved ones, working through puzzles, and spending time with her family. These moments reflected who she was: thoughtful, loyal, and deeply devoted to those she loved.
Marcia’s kindness left a lasting impression. Her gentle strength and unwavering presence will be remembered with love and gratitude by all who knew her.
Marcia was preceded in death by her parents, Cecil Woodrow Erickson and Mildred Erickson; son, Jeffrey Ray “Jeff” Perry, and brother, Tommy Erickson.
