Marcie Payne Spence passed away March 3, 2025 at the age of 80. She was born in McAalla, Alabama April 5, 1944 to the late Reggie Harlan Payne and Jeanette Henderson Payne.
She graduated from Demopolis High School in 1962.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Edward Spence and son, Russell Comer Spence; her loyal companions, Abbi and Libby
She is survived by her grandson, James Hunter Spence; sisters, Margie Zimmerman and Sarah Elizabeth Chance and her loyal companion, Coco.
Marcie will be laid to rest at a private service at Pineview Memory Gardens in Valley Grande, Alabama with Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home of Selma directing. There will be no visitation.
