Marcos Rivera Obituary
Survivors include his beloved wife of 22 years Robin and their children, Benjamin David Rivera, Devan Espinosa, Jesus Garcia, Zoe Grace Rivera, Isabella Rivera, Azya Rivera; parents: Fabian Rivera And Norma Valle Thomas (David): siblings, Jennifer Thomas, Ashley Thomas, Alex Rivera (Jessica), Magdalena Rivera (Johannes); grandchildren, Hayden and Ava Espinosa; nieces and nephews, Trent Schlosberg, Frankie Rose Sartin, Jordan Hoenig-Rivera and many more.
Marcos was a member of Athens Church. He served in the United States Coast Guard and Army National Guard where he received numerous awards and accommodations. He was a former police sergeant at Athens-Clarke County police department. Marcos enjoyed spending his free time hunting with his son, visiting wineries with his wife or riding his motorcycle. Marcos was loved by so many and always was willing to help when needed. He had a great sense of humor and most of all loved God and his family above everything else.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, April 25 2023, at 1:00 PM in the chapel of Lord & Stephens, WEST, Watkinsville. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
