Marcus Waverly Arrowood Jr. , age, 79, of Clearfield, Utah, passed away on February 13, 2024. He was born to Marcus W. Arrowood Sr. and Edith Everette Arrowood in Asheville, North Carolina.

 

He loved his country and served in the Navy in Asheville, North Carolina for four years.  He met and married Linda Marie on June 17, 1967 in Fremont, California. Together they have 2 wonderful sons: Marcus (Kim) Arrowood of Fremont, California, and Matthew (Tammy) Arrowood of Tooele, Utah. He dearly loved and treasured his grandchildren: Kyle and Jake Arrowood of Fremont, California, Dillon and Ashley Arrowood of Tooele, Utah. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

 

He loved playing and watching baseball, especially the Dodgers! Go Dodgers.

 

He is the brother of the late Christina Keller (Carl), Dorothea Biddix (Ronnie), and the late Donnie (Judy) Arrowood.

 

Marcus was preceded in death by Donald Nelson Arrowood (brother) Christina Keller (sister) and Verona Blasingame (sister).

 

He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

 

Friends many visit with family Saturday February 17, 2024 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lindquist’s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Rd., Layton, Utah.
