Mark was born on December 17, 1962, in Lovington, New Mexico to Wayne and Melba Luna. He married Tammy Luna on October 10, 2015, in Stanton, TX. Mark had a heart as big as the sky and knew a love that had no bounds. His greatest joys in life were his family, especially his two children and his cherished grandchildren, who were the very center of his world. Mark's devotion to them was unwavering in every decision he made. He was rooted in ensuring their happiness and well-being were continuous. When he wasn't hard at work in the oilfield, he was focused on taking care of those he loved. He especially loved his parents and always made sure they were cared for no matter what. This hero has now gained his wings and leaves a legacy of what love and dedication should look like in the eyes of his family and friends.
Mark is survived by his parents Wayne and Melba Luna. His two children are Laci Luna of Stanton, TX. Austin (Brittney) Luna of Lenorah, TX. Stepdaughter Elizabeth (Ross) Enriquez of Italy TX. Stepson Colten (Erica) Watson of Ennis, TX. Grandchildren include Braylon Aragonez, Boston Aragonez, Haven Gordan, Carolina Carrell, Presley Luna, Madden Enriquez, Whitly Enriquez, Austyn Enriquez, and Micah Watson. He is also survived by his brother David (Jill) Luna, his sister Jennifer (Craig) Mehling, and numerous nieces and nephews and loving friends.
Mark is preceded in death by his grandfather Marcus Webster Luna, and Lee Roy Boss his grandmothers Martha Elizabeth Luna, and Ruby Boss.
Pallbearers will be Darryl Snell, Daniel Ramos, Colten Watson, Tracy Irvin, Clyde Kessler, Ross Enriquez. Honorary Pallbearers will be Craig Mehling, Johnny Christon, and Garrett Luna.
Arrangements are under the direction of Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home & Crematory of Midland. Online condolences may be made at www.npwelch.com.

Marcus and I worked together the years he was with Schlumberger as well as after he left Schlumberger and started his Testing Company, Bulldog Testers. Although we never met, I came to know Marcus to be a true Texan gentleman who loved his family and would do anything for his friends or family. He worked with integrity and enthusiasm, so I always enjoyed working with him. He will be sorely missed, but I have assurance that we'll see him again when we go to The Lord. God bless.
