Marcus Henry McFarland of Jacksonville, Florida, passed away on April 1, 2024, in Jacksonville, Florida. He was born on November 19, 1977, in Jacksonville, Florida.
Marcus was a kind and gentle giant who dedicated his career to being a construction worker. He found joy in making friends and spending time with his beloved family.
He is survived by his daughter, Rikayla Crawford, and grandchildren Ryan Richardson and Riley Richardson. Marcus is also survived by his mother, Cassandra Brown, and siblings Martice McFarland, Michael McFarland (Tamela), Bobby Dunbar, and Jamar McFarland. He will be dearly missed by special individuals Bershaud Troutman, Leonardo Maples, Carlos Wilkerson, and Eric McQueen, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and friends.
Marcus was preceded in death by his father, Morris McFarland, his brothers, Tyrone McFarland, and Morris Dunbar.
A product of Duval County Public Schools, Marcus leaves behind a legacy of hard work, love, and dedication to his craft. He will be remembered for his warm heart and his love for his family and friends. May he rest in peace.
