Albany- Margaret J. Baker- Lake, 41, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on September 24, 2025. She was born in Albany, NY to the late James and Charlotte Baker.
Margaret fought long and hard with her illness, yet she still found great fulfillment spending time with her family, friends, and her dog Lily. She also found joy in life adventures with her “partner in crime” Shelby. Margaret will be forever, remembered for her courage, boldness, and love for animals.
She is predeceased by her son Brendin Lake.
She is survived by her siblings, Diana McDonagh, Denise Salls, Edward Scott, Joseph Scott, Darlene ( Mark) Scott, Dawn Yates, Gilbert Scott, Donna ( Joseph) LaChance. A host of nieces, nephews and friends.
The family would like to extend their heart felt appreciation to Erin and Sue, and the ICU Nurses at St Peters Hospital. In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to the Mohawk Hudson Humane Society.
