Margaret Black

Margaret "Nanny" Black (Williams), 77, of Cabot, passed away Sunday, February 8, 2026. She was born October, 3, 1948 in Montgomery, Alabama to the late Clayton Franklin Williams and Dorothy Jeanette Thomas Williams. Margaret was a homemaker; she adored all of her "babies" and she loved shopping at Wal-Mart. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 32 years, James Theo Black & her siblings, Jimmy, Larry, Wayne, & Gail.

Margaret is survived by her children, Eric Black and his wife Jody, Darrell Black and his wife Jessica, Michael Black and his wife Tai, Jessica Covey and her husband Eddie, Brooke Black and her fiancé Zac Carter; a brother, Mark Williams and his wife Donna; her best friend of 60+ years, Sharon Davis; 19 grandchildren and 34 great-grandchildren. She also had several close friends who were her "family by love."

Visitation for Margaret will be at Moore's Cabot Funeral Home, 700 N. 2nd St., at 9:30 a.m. on Friday, February 13, 2026. Graveside services will follow at 11:30 a.m. in the Little Rock National Cemetery.
