Margaret Arlene "Marge" Boszczuk

Margaret Arlene Boszczuk, lovingly known as Marge, peacefully passed away on February 28, 2025, at Hunterdon Care Center in Raritan Township, NJ. She was born on August 12, 1929, in Neshanic, NJ, and was a lifelong resident of Somerset and Hunterdon Counties.

Marge's early career included secretarial work with Bambergers and Ethicon, but her primary role was that of a dedicated homemaker, where she devoted herself to raising her four children. A farm girl at heart, she exemplified a down-to-earth personality, with family being paramount in her life. She was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, leaving an indelible mark on all who had the privilege to know her.

Marge is survived by her four children: Linda (Vliet) Holmes of Arnold, MD; Kenneth Boszczuk of Whitehouse Station, NJ; Lawrence Boszczuk and his wife, Lauri, of Bloomsbury, NJ; and Sharon Hergenrother of Easton, PA. She also cherished her ten grandchildren: Becky (husband Brian), Mark (wife Kim), Brent (wife Shannon), Cody, Amanda (husband Brandon), Chelsea (husband Joey), Tara, Tammy, Jessica, and Justin, as well as seven great-grandchildren who brought her immense joy. Additionally, Marge was affectionately known as ‘Aunt or (‘Cioci’) Margie’ to numerous nieces, nephews, and their families, portraying the warmth and love she extended to her extended family.

Marge was a long-time member of the Rockaway Reformed Church in Whitehouse Station, NJ, finding comfort in her spiritual beliefs.

Marge was predeceased by her beloved husband of 33 years, Stanley A. Boszczuk, who passed away in 1993. She was also the last of her generation, having lost her three siblings: Douglas Turner, Blanche Vliet, and Francis (‘Babe’) McCarthy. Furthermore, she was preceded in death by her son-in-law, Chris Holmes, who passed away in 2016.

Her visitation will be held on March 10, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, located at 147 Main St, Flemington, NJ. Following the visitation, a funeral service will take place at 12:00 PM, also at Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Neshanic Cemetery, beginning at 1:15 PM.

Margaret Arlene Boszczuk will be remembered for her unwavering love for her family, her nurturing spirit, and the joy she cultivated in her garden and throughout her life. Her legacy will continue in the hearts of her loved ones, who will forever honor her memory.
