Margaret Ann Clinebell ("Betty Boop), A loving wife, daughter, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, passed away on Monday, November 17, 2025, at the age of 77 in Plano, Texas. Margaret Ann was born on March 14, 1948, in Cumberland, Maryland to her beloved parents, Beulah and Elwood Victor Simpson.
She married the love of her life, Edward Lee Clinebell, Jr., in 1968 and they had their first son Edward Lee Clinebell III, later that year. They then welcomed their second son, James Wayne Clinebell, 6 years later. The family lived in Maryland until they moved to Texas in 1982. Peggy then started working for Kroger and opened up many stores as a Deli and Bakery Manager. She retired from Kroger after 25 years of service and dedication.
Margaret known as "Peggy" by many, truly enjoyed spending time with family and friends immensely. She loved dancing, mowing her yard, and playing shuffleboard. She was an avid watcher of all kinds of sports and often enjoyed riding on the back of Edward's motorcycle for miles upon miles alongside the southern Dawg Family. She especially enjoyed the company of her fur babies, bear and Callie. She lover her family dearly and will be missed greatly by all who knew her.
Margaret is survived by her loving family, including her sons Edward and James, daughter-in law Amy Clinebell and Daughter Suzy Marquez. she is also survived by her sisters Emma Jean Davis and Sandra Stallings. Her legacy continues through her grandchildren: Meagan, Taylor, Tyler, Virginia, Brittnee, Kaci, and Payton, as well as 15 great-grandchildren, with one more on the way.
She is preceded in death by her beloved husband Edward Lee Clinebell, Jr., her parents, Beulah and Elwood Victor Simpson, her sister, Virginia "Ginny" Steckman, and her brother-in-law, Lloyd Stallings.
