Margaret Deskis

Margaret Deskis, age 90, of Media, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, September 24, 2025. Born in Pittston, PA, on January 22, 1935, she was the daughter of the late Francis and Julia (Fanucci) Bradigan. Margaret graduated from Jenkins Township High School and later married the love of her life, Richard E. Deskis. Throughout her life, Margaret held various jobs, but her most cherished role was being a devoted mother to her son, Rick. She found joy in reading, spending time with her grandchildren, and was a proud member of the Ancient Order of Hibernians. She is survived by her son, Richard J. Deskis (Colleen); and her beloved grandchildren, Lily, Nora, and Jack Deskis. Margaret is also survived by her brother, Francis Bradigan (Dolores); and sisters, Theresa (Bradigan) Labashosky and Julianne (Bradigan) Peleckis. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Richard "Dick" Deskis, and her brother, William Bradigan. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, October 8, 2025, at 11:00 AM at St. Jude the Apostle Church, 152 Tulip Drive, Lewes, DE 19958. Family and friends may visit beginning at 10:00 AM. Burial will follow at Epworth Methodist Cemetery, 187 Henlopen Avenue, Rehoboth Beach, DE 19971.
