Margaret DeWees Obituary
Margaret and her Husband Dennis were married November 25, 1974, and raised their family along the west coast before settling in Lemoore in 1978. Margaret enjoyed her career with the Navy Exchange where she retired after 30 years. When she wasn't at the racetrack or the Palace, she could always be found with her nose buried in a book.
After a short bout of illnesses, she has gone racing behind heavens gates. She was loved by many and will be dearly missed.
Margaret is preceded in death by her son, Bud DeWees. She is survived by her husband Dennis, her sister Barbara (Orville) Tucker, daughter-in-law Marie DeWees, son Jon (Michelle) DeWees, daughter Jessica DeWees, grandchildren, Deirdre (Lenny) Rose, JeanAnn (Chris) Thompson, JackiLynn DeWees, Justina Patterson, and four great grandchildren.
Services for Margaret will be held at Phipps Dale Funeral Chapel Tuesday February 17th, 2026, from 1030 AM- 1230 PM. Burial service to follow at Lemoore Cemetery at 1 PM.
