It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Margaret F. "Peggy" (Newcamp) Emrick, who left this world on Tuesday, Feb. 10, 2026, at the age of 80, after a long illness. Born on Feb. 7, 1946, in Pittsburgh, Peggy graced the lives of those around her with her fierce and generous heart for eight remarkable decades. Peggy was a beloved daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, David Emrick, with whom she shared nearly fifty beautiful years of marriage. Together, they built a life filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories. Peggy's spirit and devotion to her family were evident in every interaction, as she loved her family and friends fiercely. Peggy is survived by her devoted children, Heidi Emrick (David Cetra) and Holly Rand (Russell Rand); along with her beloved grandchildren, Richard, Isabella, and Nicholas; and bonus grandchildren, Nicolette, Jennifer, Stephanie, Lydia, and Harper. She also leaves behind cherished siblings, Phillip Newcamp (Pat Newcamp) and Jean Arlotti (Tony Arlotti), who will forever hold her memory close to their hearts. A long-time resident of Cheswick, Peggy was proud of her roots and cherished the friendships she formed over the years. She enjoyed camping and spending time with her friends, embracing the simple joys of life and chocolate. Her warmth, kindness, and unwavering support made her a cherished presence in the lives of many, and her legacy will live on in the hearts she touched. In honor of Peggy's life, we invite everyone who knew and loved her to join us for a celebration of life, details of which will be shared at a later date. While we mourn her passing, we also celebrate the beautiful life she lived and the countless memories she created with those she loved. Peggy will be deeply missed, but her spirit will endure in the countless lives she touched and the memories that will forever be cherished. May she rest in peace, surrounded by the love of family and friends.
