THE LIFE AND TIMES OF MARGARET
Margaret Jean Farrish was born on February 25, 1951 to Walter and Geraldine Farrish. Margaret is the oldest of nine siblings. She was affectionately known as "Patty-Jo". She grew up with her siblings Eric, Walter, Jr, Andrew, Neil, Alyce, Dorothy, Iris, and Gerald in a loving and supportive family. Margaret attended Pittsburgh Public Schools beginning with Homewood Elementary School. She went on to attend George Westinghouse High School. She went on to later earn her GED.
"Patty-Jo" later married James Lee Murphy. Together they went on to have four children, James Lee Farrish, Sr, Marcel Raynard Farrish, Sr, fraternal twins Dennard Farrish, Sr, and Lennard Farrish.
"Patty-Jo" had many skills and abilities. She was very creative, innovative, and stylish. She was like Master Card & Visa, she never left home without it!! She was always dressed to the 'nine' no matter where she went or what she was doing. She excelled in all that she touched. Her professional accomplishments were many.
