Margaret Carol-Laurine Flees

Margaret Carol-Laurine Flees (Glaser) of Saginaw 

Beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and sister passed away unexpectedly at her home in Saginaw on Thursday, February 15th, 2024, at the age of 78. Margaret was born in Plymouth, England, on March 24th, 1945, to the late Charles & Phyllis (Trebithick) Glaser, and was a 1964 graduate of Arthur Hill High School. She met William Flees at the Cherry Festival in Traverse City, and the couple would soon marry on June 20th, 1964. He survives her. Margaret spent her years as a homemaker, lovingly supporting her husband, son, and grandchildren. In her free time, she loved photography and could be seen taking pictures of friends and family during any occasion. Margaret was a kind and giving person, spending much of her time shopping for other people and tending to their needs, and it was said she would give you the coat off her back so you didn't go cold. She lived for everyone else before herself and loved everyone no matter what. Margaret is remembered as being a strong-willed, if stubborn, woman who was kind-hearted, feisty, and loving beyond all other things. 

Margaret is survived by her husband of 59 years, William Flees; son Bill (Brandi) Flees; grandchildren Joseph O'Dell, Desire Flees, Dakota Flees, and Deonte Flees; great grandson Lynkiin Kotzke; and sister Betty Sian-Pyonk; as well as many nieces, nephews, other family members, and friends. 

Margaret was preceded in death by sister Laurine Letson. 

A funeral service from Margaret will be held at 12:00pm on Monday, February 26th, 2024, at W.L. Case and Company Funeral Directors, 4480 Mackinaw Rd, Saginaw, MI 48603, with Rev. Gary Vanderveen presiding. Visitation will take place at the funeral home from 10:00am until the time of service, with burial to follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
