Maggie, as she was known to by her friends was from Livingston New Jersey. She was from Irish decent and married into an Italian family. Hard work & family was the motto. She was very witty and often ran her own company alongside her husband. She ran a trucking company, a car dealership, and a land development company. In Cherryhill NJ she survived a horrible house fire and lost everything. But she was resilient. And, good friends and family came from all over to help her rebuild the family home.

For retirement, she moved to Florida. But retirement was not yet in the cards. In total, Maggie was married 3 times. In between, she boldly went out on her own for a tour position at Mt. McKinley Princess Wilderness Lodge in Alaska. At the end of the season, she and her friends, with granddaughter in tow all went on a 90 day cruise around the world.

Next, she was on to a new life in Mexico. She was a member of the International Women's Club of Cancun and had many close friends who became family. Her work later took her to Mississauga, Ontario, Canada for a while then back to Mexico. Finally, she returned home to Melbourne Florida.

Maggie was a very traditional lady who never missed a holiday or family milestone. If nothing was happening, you could still find her with family or friends gathered around the kitchen table. Nothing made her happier than Sunday dinners with macaroni and gravy. She was the glue that kept us together.

Margaret whom we called mom, grandma, and Aunt Maggie, loved life, loved collecting stamps in her passport and loved her family. We will miss her every day.

She will be laid to rest at Fountainhead Memorial Park in Palm Bay Florida alongside her parents Elizabeth and John Wallace, and her son Robert Fontana.
