Margaret Jeanette Francis, 84, of Sentinel, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully on October 14, 2025, in Cordell, Oklahoma. She was born on June 23, 1941, in Dierks, Arkansas, to Vernon D. Taylor and Martha Elizabeth (Chandler) Taylor Howell. Margaret grew up and attended school in Washita County, getting her GED in 1975. She married George P. Francis, Jr. on August 26, 1983, in Hobart, Oklahoma. Margaret worked in the banking industry in Burns Flat and Sentinel. She worked at Halliburton Oil Company and retired in 1995. Margaret was a member of the First Baptist Church, where she loved singing in the choir. She was also an auxiliary member. Margaret will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her, especially her family.
