Margaret Rose Kesterson Fritts, age 94, went to her heavenly home on December 30, 2025. She was born on November 6, 1931, in Briceville, Tennessee, and lived in Rocky Top with her beloved husband, Dorcy Lee Fritts for 70 years until his passing in 2020. She was precededin death by her parents, Mary (Foust) and Lewis Kesterson and sister Betty Jo Kesterson Abner.
Margaret retired from the Anderson County School System where she worked as a TITLE I aide at Medford and Lake City Elementary Schools for more than 20 years. Many children benefitted from her patient help in reading and spelling. She taught Sunday School and supported mission work in the Women's Missionary Union at Clinch River Baptist Church where she was a member for 75 years. Margaret was a member of the Coal Creek Order of the Eastern Star 226.
Throughout her last years and declining health, she was faithful to call friends and pray for them.

Burial: Family and friends will meet Saturday, January 3, 2025, 12 noon at Leach Cemetery
in Rocky Top. Rev. Darryl Arrender officiating.
