Margaret Gaia Obituary
Margaret ""Suzanne"" Gaia passed away on Saturday, December 7, 2024 at the age of 63 at Baptist East Memorial Hospital after a very brief and sudden illness. She was preceded in death by her parents Roy and Mary Margaret Roberts Gaia, and her brother Andy Gaia, uncles John, Ed and Raymond Gaia and Percy Roberts. She leaves behind her aunt, Rose Gaia of Kingman, Arizona, a large group of cousins, her sister-in-law Anna Lee Gaia and her niece Elizabeth Gaia.
Suzanne graduated from Bishop Byrne High School in 1979, and received both bachelor and masters degrees from the University of Memphis. She worked as a claims specialist in the transportation industry. She was an avid reader, loved gardening in her yard, and like her brother, loved all kinds of music. She was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help in Germantown and a member of the choir.
Known for her endlessly sweet personality, Suzanne never missed an opportunity to wish someone a happy birthday, holiday, or even just a good day. Although she is reunited with her parents and her big brother, she will be greatly missed by her family, friends, and coworkers.
Visitation will be held at Our Lady of Perpetual Help at 11am on Monday, December 16, followed by a funeral mass at 12pm. Burial will take place at All Saints Cemetery on East Holmes in Memphis where she will be laid to rest next to her parents.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Birthright and St. Paul's School.

I so enjoyed working with Suzanne at Ezon for a number of years. She was one of the nice and sweetest persons I have known. RIP Suzanne.
