Margaret Caple Harmon

7 I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: 8 Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.
On Friday, December 5, 2025, Margaret Juanita Caple Harmon transitioned from her earthly life to life eternal with our Lord and Savior. Margaret's journey began on July 7, 1935 in Wadesboro, North Carolina. She was born to the late Mark and Nona McRae Caple. Margaret received her formal education with Anson County school system.
As a young adult Margaret moved to Thomasville, NC, where she met and married Rev. Robert Harmon. They have been happy married with over 65 years of wedding bliss. Margaret enjoyed the simple things in life, listening to gospel music, watching her favorite shows: Dr. Oz and the cooking shows, completing puzzles and planning her famous family (neighbor) cookouts.
Margaret's spiritual journey was a formal member of Friendship Baptist Church where she served on the Usher Board and Kitchen Committee, prior to supporting her husband Rev. Robert Harmon with his pastoral position with Cunningham First Baptist Church. Family and friend will always remember Margaret as loving and humble spirited person, whom always spoke with clarity by saying what she means, and means what she said.
She was proceeded in death by her parents, her three siblings, Mozel Caple, Baxter Caple and Louise Collier.
Margaret is survived by her husband, Rev. Robert Harmon of the home, one daughter, Queen Harmon of Charlotte, NC, one son, Clifton (Stephanie) Harmon of the home, two bonus sons, Rev. Ronald (Linda) McRae of Winston-Salem, NC, and Kelvin McRae of Texas, two grandsons, Anthony Harmon and Brandon Harmon, two granddaughters, Jamila Harmon and Shaqurius Green, four great grand-children, Kamonta Harmon, Kimora Harmon, Janae Cochran-Harmon and Josiah Watts, one great great grandchild, Kamari Harmon, three special nieces Patricia Caple, Priscilla Marsh and Cynthia Sealy and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
