Margaret Ann "Poochie" Hinton

BORN: April 12, 1939 - DIED: September 22, 2025

Funeral service for Margaret Ann "Poochie" Hinton, 86, of Rock Run will be Saturday, Sept. 27th at 2:00 P.M. at Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church, on Co-Rd 28, With Rev. Ricky Pollard officiating. Burial will follow at Union Grove Cemetery. The Family will receive friends at the church from 1:00 P.M. - 2:00 P.M.

Miss Hinton passed away Monday, September 22, 2025 at Redmond Park Hospital. Rome, Georgia.

She is survived by her son, Jason Nicholson, nephew Doug Hinton, two granddaughters and several cousins and her beloved doggies, Dot and Buddy. 

Pallbearers are cousins: Jeff Rhinehart, David Rhinehart, Robert Rhinehart, Grady Rhinehart, Gene Williams, Carlton Williams, and Alan Rutherford.

She retired from Zartic in Cedartown, Georgia after 28 years of service. She was a member of Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church. Poochie was an avid wrestling fan.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Joe B. and Estelle Rhinehart Hinton. Brother, J.B. Hinton, niece, Diane Hinton Nicholson, and nephew David Hinton.
