While each of us had a special relationship with my mother, there was were a couple grandchildren who had something unique with my mother. One of those was my niece Riley. She was with my mother 24 hours a day/7 days a week. Thank you, Riley, for the love and care you bestowed upon Ema each and every day that you were with her. There is nothing that can ever replace that and you made her feel loved, secure, valued and cherished. She knew she could always count on you and loved you so incredibly much. Your relationship with her will continue to live in your memories and bless you the rest of your life. It is something only you have and will be able to cherish. Thank you for everything you did for Ema.

There are too many memories to try to sum up a life as wonderful as my mother's. She was everything to everyone. She raised seven children and always managed to make each of us feel special. Somehow, she managed to carve out individual time for each of us as we were growing up. She was so involved in our lives. There wasn't a single extracurricular event that she missed. She loved hearing about the accomplishments of her children and grandchildren and great grandchildren. She brought so much light into our lives. As we grew and became parents, she continued to play an important role in our lives. She gave the BEST advice, she was kind, caring and never judgmental. She was strong in many ways, but at the almost age of 90, her health diminished, but each time, she rallied and came back to us - except this very last time. She was tired and ready to join the Lord and her husband, her mother, her father and brothers in Heaven. Thank you, mom, for always loving us. We loved you back so, so very much. Thank you for your unwavering support. Thank you for the moral compass that you instilled in each of us. Your legacy will live on through each of us. You will forever be in our hearts and we will honor you each day through our words and actions. I will our almost daily conversations. Until we meet again, mom. I love. Mary
