Margaret Belinda Kvant

Margaret B. Kvant, 98, of Chanhassen, MN, died Sunday, August 18, 2024, at Methodist Hospital in St. Louis Park, MN.
Margaret Belinda Kvant was born June 17, 1926, to Gilbert and Ella Marie Gunderson near Northwood, ND. Margaret graduated from Northwood High School and Fargo Business College.
Margaret married Alfred L. Kvant on June 23, 1951. They made their home in Fargo. She worked at the Fargo Country Club as office manager for over 20 years.
As a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, her happiest days were spent with her family at home in Fargo and at their cabin at Detroit Lakes.
Margaret is survived by her son, Gerald Kvant, Chanhassen, MN; daughter, Mary (Daniel) Schaefer, Minot, ND; five grandchildren, Robert (Katy) Schaefer, Marie (Tyler) Persson, Michael (Angella) Schaefer, Cory Kvant, and Carson Kvant; eight great-grandchildren, Hannah Schaefer, Emmie Schaefer, Matthew Schaefer, Iliana Persson, Elodie Persson, Marcella Schaefer, Jonathan Schaefer, and Alice Schaefer.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred; her parents, Gilbert and Ella Marie; her sisters, Jean, Mildred, Hilda, Helen, and Alice; and brothers, George and Harris.
A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, August 24, 2024 at 1:00 PM at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Fargo, ND, with visitation one hour prior to the service. Burial will be at Riverside Cemetery, Fargo.
