Margaret A. Lowry, 86, of Pickerington, Ohio (formerly of Steubenville, Ohio) passed away on October 30, 2025 at Amber Park Senior Living. Margaret was born on May 19, 1939 in Toronto, Canada a daughter of the late Dr. Earl C. & Margaret Copp Steele. She earned her Bachelor's degree from the University of Toronto before serving as a High School Teacher.
Margaret is preceded in death by siblings Dr. John, Bob and Pat. She is survived by her loving husband Douglas Lowry; children Kevin Michael (Kathi Glenn), Sharon Elizabeth & Susan Louise; siblings Bill, Don & Barbara; eleven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Friends may call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, 215 Fernwood Road, Wintersville, Ohio on Tuesday November 4, 2025 from 12 pm until 1 pm. Funeral liturgy with Mass 1:30 pm at Triumph of the Cross Parish with Fr. Matthew Gossett officiating. Burial at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Margaret's honor can be made to the Franciscan University of Steubenville, 1235 University Boulevard, Steubenville, Ohio 43952.
