Margaret McCrudden, 85, of Westchester County, NY, passed away peacefully on January 25, 2025 surrounded by her loved ones. Born on December 17, 1939 in Parkchester, NY, she was the beloved wife of Owen McCrudden and devoted mother to three children, Patti, Matthew, and Owen. Margaret will also be deeply missed by her daughters-in-law, Alicja McCrudden and Sheila Bennett, as well as her cherished grandchildren, Riley and Matthew.
A lifelong resident of Westchester, Margaret was a successful real estate broker known for her dedication, integrity, and warmth. Her career in real estate spanned many years, during which she helped countless families find their perfect homes.
Margaret had a deep love for the ocean, and summers spent in Surf City, LBI with numerous family and friends were some of her most treasured memories. She was known for her love of cooking and hosting family gatherings, especially during the holidays where her warmth and hospitality made every event memorable.
Above all, Margaret will be remembered for her kindness, her incredible sense of humor, and her unwavering devotion to family and friends. Her legacy of love, laughter, and inclusiveness will continue to inspire all who knew her.
A visitation will be held for family and close friends. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to the ASPCA to honor Margaret's love for animals.
