Peggy's mother and my father Howard Phillips were a second, late life, marriage. She was always a welcoming presence. We remember the joy she and her family brought to Howard in his later life and offer our condolences to all her loved ones.

Peggy, you will be missed. I treasure our time in Washington State when we were "pioneers in Emergency Nursing", preaching that we're an Emergengy Department (ED), not just a room, developing and establishing the CEN progam and promoting disaster planning & preparedness.
We also had many fun times with our ENA friends and colleagues
I think of you often and am so grateful for having known you.
Rest in peace, dear friend, your shift is over.

Peggy was a mentor and a friend. She was the example for me of the nurse I wanted to be. Her "lessons" in compassion rang in my head throughout my career serving to re-center me when I strayed from that fundamental pillar of nursing. But even more than that her service to our nation, the citizens of this country no matter their socioeconomic status, and to our profession was a rare and beautiful thing.
She had/has an impact that will be felt over decades. Peggy will be missed but will not be forgotten and I believe many of us will hold her in our hearts and minds and try our best to continue the lessons of life She shared with us.

Peggy was a loyal member of SJVVA. As a member of VFW Post 679 Auxiliary, I always enjoyed talking with her. She was very sweet & will be missed

We of the Philadelphia General Hospital school of nursing alumni appreciate Peggy´s contribution to the war effort in Vietnam and her lengthy career and emergency room nursing either practicing or as a clinician. We´re very proud of her contribution.
Rest in peace Peggy
job well done.
