Margaret Murphy

I´ve known Maggie most of my life. We were good friends all through Junior Highschool. What I can say about her back then, is that she was a delight to know. Her smile could light up a room. She was so much fun to be around. I don´t think she ever had a malicious thought in her head. But the main thing was that she was the kindest person to everyone she met.
After school, like most people, our paths diverged and I didn´t see her again for some fifty plus years. It was at a Glory Dayz reunion that I saw her. We were talking, catching up and I said, "How do you do it?" She said, "Do what?". I said, "same face, same lovely smile, and still the sweetest person on earth." She laughed and poked me in the arm. Then she pointed to Pat and said, "I´m happy. I´ve had a wonderful life." Having gotten to know Pat somewhat, since that night, I understand. She had surrounded herself with the same loving kindness.
So many have said how they will miss Maggie. I say, if you were lucky enough to know Maggie and call her a friend, some little part of her will be with you always... That indelible imprint her loving kindness left on your heart.
