Margaret Lee Estep Murphy age 81 of Ten Mile passed away Friday, March 20, 2026 at Methodist Medical Center in Oak Ridge.
A native of Bonne, WV and current resident of Ten Mile, she was a daughter of the late James Marvin and Mayme Mason Estep and was preceded in death by her husband William Joseph Murphy, a son James Murphy and siblings Mary Ruth Caldwell, Gene Estep, Calvin Estep and Carter Miles.
She was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. Margaret loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was a huge fan of Elvis and the North Carolina Tar Heels. She was an avid gardener, she loved the water and butterflies.
Suvivors:
1 daughter and son-in-law, Jennifer and James Bryan of North Carolina;
1 son, Timothy Murphy of Cookeville;
Grandchildren, Emily Hagan, Jessica Dziedzic, Kayla Bryan, Rebecca Bryan, Laurie Lowe, David Murphy, Sarah Harmon, Joey Murphy, Amber Francis, Jason Bell, Anthony Hagan, Marc Hagan, Chenoa Hagan and Carter Youngs.
A host of great-grandchildren, nieces an nephews
