Margaret Ann Pagoria passed away peacefully on February 18, 2024, in Gulfport, MS, at the age of 74. Born on December 15, 1949, in Chicago Heights, IL, to the late Marie Kelly and Dominick Pagoria. Margaret's journey through life was marked by her dedication to her family and her tenacious work ethic. She was a skilled heavy equipment operator for Local 150, a respected Tugboat Captain, and above all, a devoted mother who raised her kids to be successful in life. Her laughter was infectious, and her ability to make friends was unmatched. She found solace and joy in fishing, boating, and spending time on the river with her friends. Those who knew her will fondly remember Margaret as the life of the party, a woman who loved to laugh and who embraced every moment with open arms. She is preceded in death by her beloved son, Cecil McDonald, parents, Marie and Dominick Pagoria, brother, Charles Pagoria, and sister, Mary Milligan. Margaret's legacy is carried on by her loving daughters, Ann Rusher (Christy Moran), Melissa Jester, and Margaret Decker (Ray Wisz). Her memory will also be treasured by her grandsons, Daniel (Michelle) Jester, Johnny (Emily) Ciapponi, Matthew Pagoria, Nicholas Pagoria, Jeremy Pagoria, and her granddaughter Jennie (Andres) Guzman Jester, Brittany Hegseth (Chris), Lauren McDonald, along with her six great-grandchildren. Her brothers John (Kathy) Pagoria, Pete Pagoria, and Dominick Pagoria.
