Our hearts are broken to announce the passing of Margaret " Marge" Paunovic, on Friday, August 29, 2025. A longtime resident of Chicago's Garfield Ridge community. Marge was the most loving, kind and giving person. She was always there when someone needed advice or just needed to talk. A great cook and baker, Marge baked the very best pumpkin pies. She was the beloved wife of the late Hans Paunovic. Loving mother of John " Johnny" and her future daughter Joy Schnayer. Dear daughter of the late Lawrence and Catherine, nee Vanik Nutley. Fond sister of the late Jack (late Joyce)Nutley, late Peter (Maureen)Nutley, late Patricia (late William)Carlson, Lawrence Nutley, late Charles (late Diane)Nutley, Edward (late Sarah) Nutley, late Thomas Nutley, late James Nutley, Catherine (James) Vallely, late Eileen (James) Laughlin , late Nancy(late Richard) Falash, late Gerald (Marlene Lindemulder), late Rosemary (Robert) LaBarre and the late Arthur Nutley. She will be remembered dearly by her many nieces and nephews. Visitation is Thursday, September 4, 2025 from 4 PM to 8 PM at Foran Funeral Home, 7300 W. Archer Ave.(55th street just west of Harlem. Visitation at the funeral home on Friday from 8:30 AM until time of Prayers at 9:30 AM. We will go in procession from the funeral home to Two Holy Martyrs Parish, St. Rene Goupil Church for a 10 AM Mass. Marge will be laid to rest next to her beloved Hans at Mount Carmel Cemetery.
