Beloved Mother and Grandmother, Margaret (Hill) Pickering, 81, of Grants Pass, passed away peacefully on October 27, 2025.
Margaret was born on January 28, 1944 in Ventura, California, to John and Dorthy Hill. On April 27, 1964, she married William Randall Pickering who proceeded her in death.
From 1964 to 1967, Margaret and Randy lived in a variety of places following logging jobs. After which, they started Triangle Tractor in Talent, before moving the business and settling in Grants Pass. In addition to being the bookkeeper for Triangle Tractor, Margaret worked as a cook and educational assistant in the Three Rivers School District.
Margaret enjoyed gardening, cooking, stained glass, sewing, and caring for her family. She had a close relationship with her grandsons who grew up next door.
Survivors include her son, Ryan Pickering and his wife, Cindy; her brother in law Ross Pickering, and her grandsons, Preston and Owen.
