Margaret Mary "Margie" Roszkowsi passed away peacefully on December 30, 2023 at age 66. Her family and friends are deeply saddened by her unexpected death.
Margie was born at Greenwich Hospital on November 6, 1957 and spent her life in the community. She was a fun, spirited soul who loved to cook, crochet, paint and bowl. She was a die heart Mets fan. Her favorite player was David Wright. Margie was always entertaining family and friends where she was the life of the party. Her laugh was so contagious it would light up the room. She was famous for her perogies, serving them with butter and onions by the dozen. One of her favorite places was Aruba, and she soaked up the sun every chance she could. She loved her dogs, Tucker and Yoohoo, dearly.
Margie was predeceased by her parents, Edward and Dorothy Novakowski, and brother Edward Novakowski, Jr.
She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Walter; sons Eddie, Justin, Adam and Doug; aunt Mary Novakowski; and numerous family and friends who will always cherish the memories made with Margie.
A memorial service will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, January 20, 2024 at St. Paul Church 84 Sherwood Ave, Greenwich, followed by a Celebration of Life at the Glenville Polish Club. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made on her behalf to the Alzheimer's Association.
Margie was a beautiful person inside and out. She cared so deeply for the people around her and always made them laugh. She will be forever missed.
