Margaret Ann "Peggy" Sorrell

Margaret Ann "Peggy" Sorrell (Smalt) – Our beloved mother passed away peacefully in her sleep on October 11th 2025 at the age of 81. Predeceased by her husband, Michael Sorrell; parents, James and Loretta Smalt; brothers, Thomas Francis Smalt and James Timothy Smalt. She is survived by her children, Christine Sorrell-Torres, John Sorrell, David (Angela) Fixsen and Thomas (Denise) Fixsen; grandchildren, Nicholas (Heather) Torres, Lauren (Nathan) Sorrell, Tucker Sorrell, Maura Sorrell, Jordan Fixsen and Jackson Fixsen; great grandchildren, Havi Adar Knight and arriving soon, baby Torres. She is additionally survived by siblings, Mary (Gary) Phelix, Jeanne (Fred) VanStrydonck, Michael (Eileen) Smalt, Kathleen (Jack) Shiltz; and many loving nieces and nephews.

Margaret was a devoted, generous Mother and Grandmother (Nan) and had a fighting spirit. She fought adversity head on and instilled that in her children. Mom enjoyed spending time with her family and our holiday gatherings will never be the same. She was a big Buffalo Bills fan and always hoped that this was "their year."

Family and friends are invited to call on SUNDAY, October 26th, from 1-4PM at Miller Funeral and Cremation Services (3325 Winton Rd S). Her Mass of Christian Burial will be held on MONDAY, October 27th, at 10AM at St. Anne Church (1600 Mount Hope Avenue). Interment White Haven Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association or American Heart Association.
