Margaret Campbell Stone

Margaret Campbell Stone, 78, of Abbeville, SC, wife of Gary Stone, died Sunday, September 21, 2025, at her home. She was born in Abbeville, SC to the late Harold and Frances Boyd Campbell.

Margaret was a 1965 graduate of Dixie High School. She devoted 37 years of dedicated service to her role at Solutia, where she was known for her commitment and hard work. Above all, Margaret loved her family. The time she spent with them was filled with laughter, stories and cherished memories.

Margaret is survived her husband of 59 years, Gary; daughter, Angela Stone O’Kelley of Abbeville, SC; brother, Bill Campbell (Barbara) of Athens, GA; two sisters, Jean Campbell Rogers (Jimmy) of Greenwood, SC and Mot Campbell Wilson (Kim) of Abbeville, SC; two grandchildren, William McNeill, Jr. and Samantha Cozart (Justin); and two great-grandchildren, Blayne Toms and Bristol Cozart.

The family will receive friends 5:00PM – 7:00PM, Thursday, September 25, 2025, at Harris Funeral Home, Abbeville Chapel. There will be a private graveside service at a later date.
