Margaret Louise Tassone, 91, of Chambersburg, PA, passed away, Wednesday, September 11, 2024, at the Mercy House Chambersburg.
Born Wednesday, September 6, 1933, in Hagerstown, MD, she was the daughter of the late Jake Wolf and the late Amy Rudy.
Margaret attended Hagerstown Christian Church. She enjoyed dancing and listening to country music.
She is survived by her children, Helen Morgan, George R. Murphy, Jr., Donna Murphy, and Todd Murphy and wife Tonya; grandchildren, Irvin (Stacy) Crawford, Patricia (Jason) Keplinger, Dorothy (Matt) Polito, Jason Unger, Michael Horst (Amy), Tina Marie (Diaunta), Jacob (Tasha) Horst, Kody Blackburn (Samantha), and Kyle Blackburn (Annalyse), Charles (Brandy) Shoemaker, II, Ashley Shoemaker, Joshua Mangum (Courtney), Brittany Murphy, Samantha (Ray) Gantt, Todd (Lashay) Murphy, Jr.; sister, Geraldine Knick; and forty great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, George R. Murphy, Sr.; second husband, Paul Tassone; infant daughter, Christina Tassone; brothers, Richard Campello and Gerald Parker; sister, Mary Stuller; and great-grandson, Christopher Crawford.
Graveside services will be held Wednesday, September 18, 2024, at 1:00 pm, at Cedar Lawn Memorial Park, 17636 West Washington Street, Hagerstown, MD, with Pastor Robert Beall officiating.
Family will receive friends at the Douglas A. Fiery Funeral Home, 1331 Eastern Blvd. North, Hagerstown, MD, Tuesday, September 17, 2024, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
