Margaret Louise Taylor age 94, of Resaca, GA, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, June 15, 2025.
Louise was born in AL on August 11, 1930, the daughter of the late George and Pearl Jones Garner. She enjoyed puzzle books, quilting, and gardening. In addition to her parents, Louise was preceded in death by her husband, John Will Taylor; granddaughter, Brandi Taylor; and several siblings.
Survivors include her children, Donald Taylor (Linda), Kenneth Taylor (Mary), Katherine Taylor, Shirley Taylor Buffington (David); foster daughter, Leslie Wiltrout; grandchildren, Nettie Chastain (Nickey), Donnie Taylor (Stacey), and Kaleigh Woodring (Lee); great-grandchildren, Sabrina Chastain, Caleb Taylor, Ethan Taylor, Sydney Taylor, Landon Woodring, and Natalie Woodring; brothers, Marvin and Bill Garner; and sisters, Betty Cochran and Margie Dickey. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
A Celebration of Life will be Wednesday, June 18, 2025, at 2:00 P.M., Chapel of the Dalton Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery.
Visitation will be Tuesday from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at Dalton Funeral Home.
The following will serve as active pallbearers: Lee Woodring, Ryan Taylor, Donnie Taylor, Caleb Taylor, Ethan Taylor, and Nathan Wyatt. Honorary pallbearers will be Nickey Chastain and David Buffington.
