Margaret Taylor Obituary

Born on September 12, 1947, in Ireland's lush landscapes, she was the daughter of the late John and Mary (Rehill) Skelly. She lived most of her life in Astoria, NY and moved to Johnstown after husbands death.
A cherished mother, sibling, and grandmother, Margaret's legacy of love and faith echoes in the lives of those who survive her. She will be remembered and sorely missed by her daughter, Patricia Lago; her son, Bryan Taylor; her brother, Bernard Skelly; and her adoring grandchildren, Christopher and Connor Lago.
Margaret is predeceased by her husband, Joseph Taylor, who passed away in 2007. Their union was a testament to mutual devotion, and their shared Christian faith was the cornerstone of their life together. As an active member of Holy Trinity Church in Johnstown, NY, Margaret's faith was a guiding light not only for her family but also for her community.
Calling hours for family and friends will be held on Friday, November 14, 2025, from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM at the A.G. Cole Funeral Home, 215 E. Main St. Johnstown, NY.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Saturday, November 15, 2025, at 10:00 AM at Holy Trinity Church, 205 Glebe street, Johnstown, NY, with Father Matthew Wetsel officiating.
