Margaret A. Wenzel
It is with sadness and joy we announce the passing of Margaret A Wenzel, age 91 on April 3, 2025. Margaret was born on October 1, 1933, in Milwaukee, the only child of Joseph and Anna Guenther. Margaret married Steve Wenzel on November 14th, 1953. They had two children, S Jeffrey Wenzel (deceased) and Lawrence (Cheryl) Wenzel. Margaret Wenzel has four grandchildren; Jason Wenzel, Jonathan (Heidi) Wenzel, April (Spenser) Svehla, and DeAnna (Drew) Walkington. She also has nine great- grandchildren; Austin Wenzel, Allyson Wenzel, Adelaide Wenzel, Everdeen Wenzel, Riker Wenzel, Evalyn Walkington, Declan Walkington, Alaina Svehla and Maverick Svehla. Margaret also leaves behind, with great affection, Kris and Brian Kieliszewski.
Margaret graduated from West Allis Central High School as Salutatorian in 1951. She married Steve and raised her family making New Berlin her lifetime home. Those who knew Marge will remember her for her generosity, hospitality and love for the Packers. She enjoyed participating in all family, grandchildren and great-grandchildren activities and sporting events. She truly made her family her priority and will be greatly missed.
A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, April 19th, 2025, at 12:00 PM with a funeral service at 1:30 PM at CHURCH AND CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME, 15250 W. National Ave, New Berlin. Burial service will follow at 3:00 PM at Wisconsin Memorial Park, 13235 W Capital Drive, Brookfield.
