Margaret Wetch Obituary

Published by Legacy on Jan. 28, 2026.
Margaret Yvonne Wetch, a devout woman of faith, was peacefully called home to be with her Lord on Tuesday, January 6, 2026 at the age of 87.

She was born on June 6, 1938 in Sisseton, South Dakota. Later her family moved to Ellensburg, WA in her early childhood and then as a young married woman, she relocated to Yakima where she spent the rest of her life. Margaret lived a life rooted in her love for God and her family. She was a faithful wife, devoted mother, loving grandmother, great grandmother and a great-great grandmother whose life reflected grace, humility and selfless devotion. Her unwavering faith guided her through life and served as a powerful example to all who knew her.

Margaret was an entrepreneur, owning and operating Beverage Distributors until her retirement. What was once a dream, became a reality and then turned into a thriving business. She was a very successful business woman in a man's world.

Margaret found joy in serving the Lord through church involvement at Holy Family Catholic Church, Catholic Daughters, prayer, volunteer service and acts of kindness. She was known for her kind heart, gentle spirit, wisdom and compassion and she never hesitated to share God's love with others. Her prayers, encouragement and steadfast faith will continue to inspire her family for generations.

She is preceded in death by her father, John Camden, her mother, Marcella Camden, a sister, Theresa Siewert and a grandson, Jared Morford, whom she is now joyfully reunited with in Heaven.

She is survived by five daughters and five sons-in-law, Kathy Morford (Steve), Carrie Aaron (Tim), Kelly Rambo (Dave), Karen Schoff (Skip), Kim Birch (Ken), fifteen grandchildren, thirty-four great grandchildren, one great-great grandson, two sisters Helen Hankins (Ron), Mary Jensvold (Carl) and numerous nieces and nephews, whom she loved dearly.

Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be held on Wednesday, January 21, 2026 at 6:30 pm at Holy Family Catholic Church Chapel. A service celebrating her life and faith will be held on Thursday, January 22, 2026 at 9:30 am at Holy Family Catholic Church Chapel, and a luncheon will follow in the church hall. In lieu of flowers the family kindly suggests donations to Christ The Teacher Catholic School, La Salle High School, or the Union Gospel Mission in her loving memory.

Though we mourn her passing, we rejoice in knowing that Margaret is at peace, resting in the arms of her Savior. Her legacy of faith, love and devotion will live on forever in our hearts.

"Well done, good and faithful servant." Matthew 25:23
