Margaret Williams Obituary
She was married 60 years to James N. Williams who preceded her in death on May 25, 2011.
Margaret is survived by her 4 children: Margaret Harvey (Allan), Allen Williams (Vickie), Mary Lynn Moore (Jay) anc Martha Stevenson (Bruce) as well as her grandchildren: Noelle Miller (Mika), Lacey Cooke (Alex), Tyson Harvey (Ashton), Spencer Fowler (Jess), Stephanie Isidoro (Emilio), Nathan Moore, Chris Moore (Letty) and 15 great-grandchildren.
Margaret graduated from Humes High School in Memphis and Lambuth College in Jackson, TN. She touched the lives of many children as a long-time kindergarten teacher in the Memphis City School district finishing her career at Sherwood Elementary. She was very active at St Lukes United Methodist Church in Memphis where she taught Sunday School and Vacation Bible School as well as singing with the choir and playing bells. When she wasn't teaching Sunday School, she was an active member of her own Sunday School Class where she played piano. When she relocated to Northumberland, PA. after the passing of her husband she continued her involvement at Otterbein United Methodist Church by joining the choir and the bells ensemble.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, February 5,2026 at 10:00am in Forest Hill Memorial Park, Memphis, TN.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. Lukes United Methodist Church, 480 S. Highland Street, Memphis, TN 38111.

Mrs Margaret and Mr James were very good people and they are reunited Again....
She was a wonderful lady who supported my Recreation Ministry at St Luke's UMC.. I will miss her loving smile and Hugs.
