Margaret Wright Reid Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Home - Jacksonville on May 31, 2025.
Margaret Wright Reid "Nannaw," wife of James Reid, left her earthly home, May 29, 2025, to be wrapped in the arms of Jesus. She was born September 9, 1934 in Batesville, Arkansas to Floyd and Pauline Wayman, whom preceded her in death.
Margaret married Dorris Wright, who proceeds her in death. Together they had 3 children, Cliff (Kathy) and Carol (Gordon), and an infant son that passed at birth; 4 grandchildren, Brandi (Aaron), Jilian (Bryan), Jonathon and Joshua; 3 great-grandchildren, Makaleigh (Lee), Gavyn (Layla) and Bryleigh; and one great-great-granddaughter, Amaya.
Playing the piano, traveling, raising Boston Terriers and spending time with her family were her favorite things to do. She spent many years as a secretary at the Arkansas Baptist State Convention and at Second Baptist Church in Jacksonville. She always had a kind word and a listening ear. She loved Jesus and spent her days sharing His love with others. She wanted nothing more than for everyone to know her Savior.
I may not have loved her all of her life, but I've loved her all of mine and I know without a doubt she loved us!
There will be a graveside service at 11:00AM on Tuesday, June 3, 2025 at Oaklawn Cemetery, 201 Hospital Cir, Batesville, Arkansas. Visitation will be from 5:00-7:00PM on Monday, June 2, 2025 at Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Home, 1504 Loop Road, Jacksonville, Arkansas.
