It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Margarita Mancuso Warren, who passed away on January 23, 2025, at the age of 81. Born on May 19, 1943, in San Antonio, Texas, to the late Jesse and Eva DeHoyos, Margarita lived a full and vibrant life, touching the hearts of all who knew her.
Margarita's love for life was evident in everything she did. She found joy in spending time with her children and grandchildren, cherishing every moment together, from attending their sporting events to baking and cooking in the kitchen. A talented artist, Margarita enjoyed drawing, painting, and playing the piano, often filling her home with creativity and warmth. She was also an avid lover of music, dancing, and socializing with friends, always bringing joy to gatherings.
Her playful spirit extended to the bowling alley and softball field, where she shared countless fun-filled hours with loved ones and friends. She also had a passion for watching crime documentaries, always eager to unravel a good mystery.
Margarita was twice blessed in love and is preceded in death by two devoted husbands whom she deeply cherished. Her enduring kindness, humor, and generous heart will be missed by her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Her memory will forever be treasured by her children, Michael Anthony Mancuso, Maria Mancuso-Ausmus (Michael), and Lisa Warren Valence (Shawn); grandchildren, Angel Marie Fuller (Matthew), Emelia Dorothy Heskett (Chase), Louie Raymond Judilla Harris, Jonathan Warren and Luke Felton-Mancuso; great-grandchildren, Archer Boone Heskett and Gracyn Avery Heskett.
A rosary will be held on Sunday, January 26, 2025, at 6:00 p.m., in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home, with a visitation following until 8:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, January 27, 2025, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
