Margene Liljenquist Hill age 100 passed away at her home on June 1, 2023, from natural causes.
She was born in Cornish, Utah on November 29, 1922. She was the daughter of Farrell and Mildred Jensen Liljenquist.
She married Glen Webster Hill on May 6, 1943, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.
She was devoted to her family and church. She served in many callings including Primary and Relief Society. She was also an ordinance worker in the Bountiful LDS Temple for many years.
She was the manager of the Clover Club Federal Credit Union.
She enjoyed crocheting and knitting for her children and grandchildren. She was a member of the Kaysville Literary Club.
She is survived by her children-Rodney Glen Hill (Pat) Farmington, Nancy Ann Hill Summers (Steven) Fruit Heights, and Douglas L. Hill (Jody) Layton, 14 grandchildren, 53 great grandchildren, 16 great, great grandchildren, her uncle, Burke Jensen (Joyce) Provo, and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, brother-Max, sister-Helen, daughter in law-Linda Hill, and great granddaughter-Madeline Margene Slaughter.
She left a legacy of kindness, love, and faith for all who knew her.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday June 7, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. at the Kaysville Tabernacle, 198 West Center St. Kaysville, Utah. Friends may visit with family Tuesday June 6, 2023, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Lindquist’s Kaysville Mortuary 400 N. Main Street,
and Wednesday from 9:30 to 10:30 at the Tabernacle.
Interment-Kaysville City Cemetery.
