Margherita C. Amplo, 51, of West Chester, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully at home on November 14, 2025, surrounded by her loving family after a courageous battle with metastatic breast cancer.
Margherita was born on November 27, 1973, in Upper Darby, Pennsylvania, to Filomena and Antonio Cappabianca. She attended St. Francis of Assisi School in Springfield (1988), Cardinal O’Hara High School (1992), and Widener University (1996). She was a devoted wife to her husband, Steve, and a loving mother to their three children, Stephen, Melina, and Antonio. Margherita’s life was defined by her strength, kindness, and unwavering love for her family. She faced every challenge with grace and courage, inspiring everyone who knew her.
Margherita built a successful career in marketing and sales, working with respected companies including Softmart, Siemens, and SAP. In 2017, she fulfilled her dream of entrepreneurship by founding MCA Consulting Services, LLC, where she dedicated herself to helping others grow and succeed. Her professionalism, creativity, and determination earned her the respect and admiration of colleagues and clients alike.
Outside of her professional life, Margherita’s greatest joy came from cooking and baking for her family, friends, and loved ones. She loved traveling with her family, listening to music and dancing, along with gardening and creating art that reflected her creativity on life. Margherita was also deeply dedicated to supporting others affected by metastatic breast cancer. For the past five years, she organized and led biannual fundraising events, bringing people together to raise awareness, share hope, and make a difference in the lives of others.
She is survived by her loving husband, Steve; their cherished children, Stephen, Melina, Antonio, and her loyal dog, Wulle; her devoted parents, Filomena and Antonio Cappabianca; her dear sister, Anna, and her sons Max and Michael; her sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Cristina and Alex Kennedy, and their daughters, Lyndsey and Adriana; along with many extended family members and friends who loved her deeply.
Relatives and friends are invited to Margherita's viewing on Thursday, November 20, 2025 at SS Peter and Paul Church,1325 Boot Rd, West Chester, PA from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM followed by her funeral mass at 11:30 AM. Interment at SS. Peter & Paul Cemetery in Springfield, PA.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to METAvivor Research and Support, Inc. to help advance research and support for those living with metastatic breast cancer. (metavivor.org)
