Margie Ann Jones Adams was born March 12, 1953 to the union of her parents, Jimmie Lee Jones and Katie Adams Jones in Winnfield, Louisiana and passed from this life January 7, 2026. Margie had worked numerous jobs and served in numerous positions, but she was loved by all the employees of Central American Life Insurance in Columbia. Her last employer was Kilpatrick Life Insurance in Jena. She loved all the people there and enjoyed meeting people on a daily basis. Even though Margie always worked hard, she also enjoyed going and doing. She liked, cooking, gardening and doing flowers. As she got older, her and her friends would go to the casino where they laughed and made lots of memories. Above all the things she done and accomplished, nothing compared to the love she had for her family.
Margie was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Mark Adams; son, Daniel Arledge; daughter-in-law, Crystal Arledge; and her fur-baby, Turk. Those left to cherish her memory are her son, Jason Arledge (Melissa); brother, Joey Jones (LeaAnn); sister, Helen Black; grandchildren, Harley Arledge (Nicki), Jayce Arledge, Jacob Arledge; great-grandchildren, Avery Arledge, Waylon Arledge; as well as nieces, nephews, and a host of other family.
