Margie Marie (Stevens) Buckley, passed away at Chosen Valley Care Center in Chatfield, Minnesota on February 16, 2024. She was born on September 15, 1940 to Charles and Alma (Wiskow) Stevens. She was the sixth child out of eight. She grew up alongside her 3 brothers and 4 sisters. She attended St. Charles High School. Moved her family in 1968 to St. Paul, Minnesota and began working at 1st National Bank and continued there for over 18 years.
Her passions included quilting, crocheting, and scrapbooking, and she was known for her remarkable collection of photos. She had a deep love for her poodle dogs, enjoyed watching westerns, dancing, and cherished her lunch outings with friends. Every year, she made personalized birthday and Christmas cards for each of her family members, showing her thoughtfulness and care.
Margie's outgoing and bubbly personality, coupled with her infectious laughter, left a lasting impression on all who had the pleasure of knowing her. She was truly a sweet and kind-hearted soul who will be forever missed.
Margie is survived by her children, Susan Lynch, John Pervin, Theodore Pervin, Crystal Richard; grandchildren, Jamie Olson, Sean Lynch, Nicole Hicks, Jessica Spears, Shane Grass, Cassie Jones, John Pervin IV, Julia Pervin, Talon Richard, Thea Simpkons, Chyla Richard; 20 great-grandchildren; sisters, Dora Dahl, Neva Christenson, Janice Harnack, Janet Dailey, and many nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Ed Stevens, Bob Stevens, Bill Stevens; daughter Dawn Grass; and grandson, Chevel Richard.
Visitation will be on Friday, February 23, 2024 at Hoff Funeral Home in St. Charles, Minnesota from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Funeral service will begin at 11:00 a.m. with funeral celebrant Dianne Rislow. Interment will take place at Hillside Cemetery in St. Charles, Minnesota.
